Welcome to the African American Leadership Association (AALA) web site. AALA is dedicated to the development of leaders and promoting the importance of community building. By developing emerging leaders, re-defining seasoned leaders and bridging the gaps with both, AALA will help leaders L.E.A.D. Leave Egos At the Door.
The African-American Leadership Association (AALA), leadership programs address the challenges, misconceptions and pressures faced by African Americans who are in or aspire to be in leadership positions. We incorporate soulful, interactive learning, and one-on-one mentoring to develop value-centered, authentic leaders to bridge the gaps for successful leadership.
The core strategies of the association are:
1. Inclusion and opportunities
2. Leadership Development
3. Talent pool
4. Shadow Mentorship/Succession planning
5. Diversity Agenda's
